About

Christoffer Rostvad is a Danish photographer, landscape architect and musician. Equipped with passion and curiosity, he works methodologically within each genre, believing strongly in the ideal of the classical renaissance man. A natural sense of exploration and investigation shapes his processes in all crafts, each lending perspectives to the others where one in isolation may lack vocabulary.

Photography started as a passion for documenting natural formations and was originally rooted in the mountains of Europe and the US. Later the built environment became another passionate focus which resulted in a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Copenhagen. Presently industrial landscapes in contrast to pristine nature, often in isolated and inhospitable regions, form his main photographical interests.

He approaches landscape design and architecture holistically, promoting the interconnectedness of the fields as he seeks to weave both crafts closer together. He creates human and ecocentric spaces and designs, guided by data and analyses to predict and produce sustainable, useable, liveable places.

With a childhood background in classical music he has transitioned into the worlds of indie- and popular music, most recently with Latitude - a band founded by Christoffer Rostvad and Kasper Svare in 2025.

Quality in all aspects is always the main drive.
